Following the late August outbreak of HPAI in a turkey complex at Moshav Nahalal the Ministry of Agriculture of Israel has reported a second case at Moshav Ram-on in the Gilboa Region, among broiler breeders.

According to the press report 34,000 birds in four houses were infected and depopulated. A six-mile radius surveillance zone has been established in accordance with World Organization of Animal Health guidelines.
