Lohmann Breeders GmbH has announced restructuring of top management to be divided between two managing directors each with specific responsibilities.

Jorg Heier an eleven-year veteran of Lohmann Breeders will be Operations Managing Director responsible for administration, production and the supply chain.  He was previously Director of Global Production for Lohmann Breeders.

Jurek Grapentin will be appointed to the position of Commercial Managing Director responsible for sales, technical service, marketing, public relations and communication.  He previously served as Sales Manager for Europe and Scandinavia and also regional director for Southeast Asia and Pacific.

In the company announcement, the realignment with the appointment of two executives with specified responsibilities is intended to strengthen the company’s competitive advantages in genetic performance and customer service.
