Publix maintained the top rank in the Newsweek grocery category for customer service for the sixth consecutive year.  The survey on which the ranking is based involves 30,000 U.S. customers.

Publix was also recognized as the leading company in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power in the pharmacy category.  This survey involved 13,500 customers filling prescriptions in 2023-2024.

In commenting on the awards, Maria Brous, Communications Director for Publix, stated, “It’s all about listening.  We listen to feedback on a regular basis from both customers and associates.”

Publix operates 1,377 stores in eight states with 870 in Florida.  The company is the largest employee-owned enterprise in the U.S. with 255,000 managers, associates and other workers.

Sales in 2023 attained $57 billion.  Publix is actively expanding its geographic reach and opened 45 new stores in 2023.
