Conagra Brands Banking on Pinnacle Sales


After posting disappointing sales growth and earnings, especially in the frozen foods segment, Conagra looks to revitalization from the acquisition of Pinnacle Foods.


Analysts project a year-long period of integration but the prospects for frozen foods appear sound given demand for fresh and frozen vegetables and protein.


For the first quarter of 2019 Conagra Brands reported net income of $178 million on sales of $1,834 million.
